Northern Illinois Justice for Our Neighbors – Anyone can be an advocate

NIJFON is a non-profit organization, rooted in the United Methodist Church, which advocates for free or low-cost legal services to people of every race, nationality, religion, age, gender and sexual orientation, who have come to the United States seeking freedom, safety and opportunity.
Examples of NIJFON services include Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Family petitions, U-Visa (Victims of crimes), T- Visa (Victims of trafficking), asylum, citizenship, Violence Against Women Act, to name a few.

In addition to legal services by skilled attorneys, NIJFON offers hospitality and childcare services and assistance with requisite paperwork. Over the past 10 years NIJFON has served 3000 cases, over 1000 clients, through the support of people like you.
