Studio 1903: Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done while sitting. Regardless of your age, fitness level or physical limitations, you can participate in chair yoga and achieve great results and find joy.

Chair yoga will:

  • increase flexibility

  • increase lung capacity

  • increase circulation and strength

  • improve balance

  • relieve stress

Come and try chair yoga to discover the healing benefits of yoga and increase your capacity of wellness.

  • Day/Time: Thursdays 1-2 pm

  • Location: Chapel

  • Cost: $10/class (a portion of the class fee will be donated back to FUMCAH)

Meet your instructor

Lynn Minuskin is an E-RYT (experienced registered yoga teacher) who is certified in chair yoga, vinyasa yoga, hot yoga, yoga sculpt, yin/restorative yoga and kid’s yoga. She teaches at Corepower Yoga in downtown Arlington Heights, at the Arlington Heights Senior Center and for the Arlington Heights Memorial Library. Lynn is recently retired from the Arlington Heights Park District where she worked the past 34 years running preschool, day camps, parent infant programs and special events. Lynn is passionate about the healing powers of stretching and strength building and has witnessed hundreds of success stories from her students over the years.
