Overview
The First United Methodist Preschool / We-e Care Program was formed as a ministry to the community in 1973 and 1974 respectively. The program’s purpose and ministry is to provide a nurturing, safe, and trustworthy environment, one in which each child can grow and develop to their full potential. The program is licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services.

We-e Care
Young We-e Care (16 months - 2 years)
Older We-e Care (2 years old by 9/19)
We-e Care is from 9:15 AM – 12:45 PM from October through May. During the month of September, children will have half days (9:15 AM – 11:15 AM) to help them acclimatize to their new classroom environment.
Enrichments
Extend your child’s day through the additional classes offered at the preschool. Students in our 3-year-old classes have the option to participate in our Extension program, where they get to stay, play, and eat lunch. Students in our 4-year-old classes can participate in our in-house enrichment program “Discover, Imagine, Create, and Explore” (DICE).
