“We accept people right where they are, just the way they are.” - Glenn "Tex" Evans, ASP founder

ASP is a biennial mission trip for youth 9th-12th grade (age 14-19). The group travels to Appalachia for a week in the summer to repair homes, build community, and witness the healing work of God’s justice.

FUMCAH has been proud to support Appalachia Service Project for over 40 years, and 2024 is no exception! We are excited to announce that a team of High School youth and adults will be heading to Appalachia this June 8-15th to help make homes warmer, safer, and drier. We'll be engaging with one of several communities that ASP serves while building lasting relationships with families. It's a beautifully meaningful experience, and we'd love to hear from you if you are interested in going or supporting the effort!

Learn more about our latest ASP trip in the Fall 2022 issue of Faith Leads, pages 6-7.
