Faith in Action March

Representing the FUMCAH Faith in Action team, Allison Anderson and Jean Wood made a one day trip to Springfield, IL for the March 2nd statewide march for The Poor People's Campaign: a National Call for Moral Revival. Simultaneous marches were held in 31 state capitals to emphasize voting rights and serving the needs of the poor. 

The Poor People's Campaign was begun by the Rev Dr William Barber in NC and has spread around the country. He is now co-chair of the movement and, recently, founding director of the Center for Public Theology and Public Policy at Yale Divinity School.
