SPAWN: Stories about parenthood

  • First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights 1903 East Euclid Avenue Arlington Heights, IL, 60004 United States (map)

Our storytelling series is a runaway hit – with full houses for the first two shows! Each show has a different theme and new group of tellers. First Person Live features regular people telling true stories from their lives, and is produced and hosted by 3-time Moth StorySLAM winner Diane Kastiel.

The fun continues this month with "SPAWN: Stories about parenthood." Tellers explore the long, strange trip we call parenthood: stories about evil stepmothers, wild grands, reluctant moms, rogue dads, feuding exes, freaked-out fosters - and yet, somehow, so much love.

The show will be held in the church’s garden, but will move indoors in case of inclement weather. All shows will adhere to CDC and FUMCAH safety guidelines. Tickets and more info are at firstpersonlive.com.

BYO blanket, chairs, food, & drink – just no alcohol please.
