Storytelling: Self Help (In which we (try to) improve ourselves)

  • First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights 1903 East Euclid Avenue Arlington Heights, IL, 60004 United States (map)

Final Storytelling Night
Friday, September 17, 6:00-8:00pm (grounds open at 5:00pm)
We’re all in hot pursuit of perfection - but really, where does it get us? Are we any richer, thinner, wiser, happier? At our final storytelling show of the season, hear stories about efforts to manage anger, get in shape, cheer up, build our brain, find peace, and the toughest one of all: accept ourselves just as we are.

First Person Live features regular people telling true stories from their lives, and is produced and hosted by 3-time Moth StorySLAM winner Diane Kastiel. The show will be held in the church’s garden, but will move indoors in case of inclement weather. All shows will adhere to CDC and FUMCAH safety guidelines. Tickets and more info are at firstpersonlive.com.

BYO blanket, chairs, food, & drink – just no alcohol please.
