As we look ahead for 2021-2022, our Adult Faith Formation committee wants to expand the number of Discovery Circles; that means more leaders, too, and excellent training is provided. On Sunday, September 19, at 10:45, there will be leadership training in the Wesley Room. Rich Havard, of the Inclusive Collective in Chicago, will share some basic structure of leading small groups – Rich likes to say that this is what gives the group it’s “muscle.” With experience at Urban Village Church, as well as his current leadership of young adult ministries at UIC and in the city, Rich brings a wealth of insights and ideas about group leadership that builds confident disciples – or as we say at FUMCAH, disciples who love boldly. Come explore this opportunity and feel free to invite others to join you - they may even lead a group with you!
