Bill Obalil will lead a 3-week Bible study entitled "Jesus and the Other." This group will meet in the Chapel after Sunday worship October 20-November 3.

Week 1 will focus on the other in the Hebrew Scriptures, the tradition that formed and informed Jesus. We will note that the people of Israel often are the other. Week 2 will examine the other in the ministry of Jesus. Week 3 will look at the other in the church of Jesus, the community of Jesus' disciples. We will look for conflicts and complexities as well as consistencies in the approach of our spiritual heritage toward the other.
