Youth Group 2022!

Big things are happening in Youth Group this year! Where to begin? First, we have enthusiastically welcomed 6th graders into our Middle School Youth program. Our first Wednesday we had 7 students, our largest and most dynamic gathering of the year! It was great fun playing games and talking about where we see hope in our world and our faith.

Second, for High Schoolers - we have started a rotational model for our youth gatherings focused on 4 ideas: justice issues & team-building, Bible reading & board games, spiritual disciplines & the arts, and questions & confessions. These varied gatherings aim to provide something unique to everyone and draw others into areas they might not automatically engage. "Sometimes you have to watch somebody else love something before you can love it yourself." - Donald Miller.

Finally, Karen Labbe & Carl Ewald are doing BIG work to make our Summer ASP Trip a transformational success! Carl will be helping the youth learn about the people and history of the Appalachian area, and Karen is doing all the essential behinds the scenes stuff to get our crew ready for our work.
