Can We Hear You Now?
Our progress flag flies in front of the church, a visible sign of our inclusive spirit. But there’s a problem. Most of our Northwest Suburban community have never seen our flag, and probably never will. Why does this matter? In our neighborhoods, there are people in need of spiritual community like ours (which is pretty special), but they don’t drive down Euclid Avenue. We are something special to reach people looking for God in the northwest suburbs: Can We Hear You Now.
This is a simple campaign. Invite your friends to visit fumcah.com/listening, where they can share their thoughts to help us learn how to serve the community better. Think of it as a listening session, but for the neighborhood. Comments will be publicly addressed during worship on November 17.
What if a person looking for God is a friend of yours on Facebook? You sharing a post might be the thing that starts a conversation or plants a seed. And if you’re not on social media, maybe chat with a friend you know who could use the community of FUMCAH!
Thanks for considering joining us in this experiment to boldly love our community.
