South Loop Community Table serves homeless and food insecure people in the city, nourishing bodies and spirits. While dinner is served every Sunday, FUMCAH helps out once per month, on the third Sunday. We meet at church at 5:30pm and carpool to the dinner site, Second Presbyterian Church on South Michigan.

The SLCT staff repeatedly tell us how much they appreciate the regular help - and it's been fun getting to know the guests and other volunteers. We typically help with setup, registering guests, and serving the buffet-style meal.
