Let your love shine at the Pride Parade in Lights. FUMCAH’s Rainbow flag has been torn, pulled down, and stolen six times in the last six months. While we work with Arlington Heights police to identify the person or persons responsible, we want to make it clear that vandalism won’t deter us from our ministry of radical hospitality and inclusion of LGBTQ persons. Let’s make God’s love in us light up our neighborhood. To let your love and welcome shine, come to our church parking lot between 4:45 and 5:00pm on Sunday, January 17 for a foot parade around our church and Methodist Park. Wear battery-powered-lights, sparkles, sequins, and glow-in-the-dark colors. Carry candles, glow sticks, and anything you have that can light the night. Masks and at least 6 feet between non-households are required!
