FUMCAH's young adult congregants (20s - 30s) are invited to join student pastor Sam Coker for a new small group. Beginning in February, we will gather at a local Arlington Heights restaurant for dinner on the second and fourth Sundays of the month for a time of fellowship. This will be an opportunity for folks to get to know each other over a shared meal and have discussion on topics like current events, environmental care, social justice, and how we can live out our faith in challenging times. Further suggestions for topics are welcome! Our first meeting will be at Javier's at 5:00pm on Sunday, February 27. In accordance with Cook County public health protocols, we ask that you be vaccinated if you plan to attend. In the event that gathering at a public restaurant is deemed unsafe by that time, an alternative setting will be decided. All young adults, whether you're in college, freshly out in the professional world, or starting a family, are welcome (If you have kids, they're welcome as well!).
