There was a devastating fire at the Palatine Windhaven complex over the weekend. There are many families, some of which have students in District 15 schools, who have been displaced from their homes. Partners For Our Communities (POC) has coordinated a Donation Drive to help the victims of this tragedy. There are several donation locations. A donation drive-thru at Christ Lutheran Church at 41 S. Rohlwing Road in Palatine will be available on Monday, March 27, and Tuesday, March 28 between 10 am and 2 pm. The items collected will be brought to the POC for distribution to the families.
