He is committed to getting to know the congregation and community since joining the staff in July of 2024.

David was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. He came to the Chicago area for college, and has made Chicagoland home since then. 

David loves the energy of people pulling together to make an impact in the neighborhoods they care about; the moments of introspective conversation where we learn from each other; and the unique experience of people from all walks of life coming together to create community.

David lives in Glen Ellyn with his wife, Kathryn, and teenage kids, Gavin and Addy! They have two dogs, one cat and five chickens.
