“Self Help”… in which we (try to!) improve ourselves
September's storytelling show with First Person Live was an exercise in pivoting...and grace, in every sense of the word. What promised ALL WEEK to be perfect weather changed an hour before showtime. We got everyone inside just as the storm hit, and enjoyed the rest of the show in the gorgeous sanctuary of FUMC Arlington Heights. If you need proof that the creative and the spiritual are one, you'd have gotten it last night - a magical show, and a perfect ending to our summer series.
