This summer’s youth mission trip will be to Perry County, Kentucky, June 8-16 to help Appalachia Service Project make homes warmer, safer, and drier for folks in need. A mountainous region with meandering valleys that was devastated by floods in 2022, Perry County has an average per capita income of $27,913 with 27% of residents living below the poverty line.

We could use a little extra help in funding our fuel costs for the 1084-mile round trip. Perhaps you could use a gift card to give that special Mom, Dad, or Grad? Choose a gift card or two or ten from our Gift Card Sale and it’s a win-win for everyone. (You could even buy a gift card for gas and donate the gift card to ASP. It’s a “two fer” donation!).

Order forms will be available before and after worship May 5 – 19 or you can download a copy here. Orders will be taken May 5, May 12, and May 19 and cards will be available for pickup the following Sunday. Payment must accompany the order form: cash, check, or proof of online payment at fumcah.com/give (choose “Youth Missions” in menu and indicate “gift cards” on memo line.)
