We offer excellent and enjoyable Sunday morning faith formation for children!
Nursery and Toddler Care – Loving care is provided for the youngest members of our church family. Please see First Step Nursery and Toddler Care for more information.
Pre-School and Kindergarten – Children who will be 3 years old by September 1 through Kindergartners enjoy learning with “GPS”.
First Graders through Fifth Graders – Our “workshop rotation” model of Sunday School encourages children to explore Bible stories in a multiple ways.
GPS: Grow-Proclaim-Serve (9:30)
While our two, three, four and five year olds may be small in size, they are learning big stories of faith. Each week features a different Bible story, presented via the “grow” video, and a variety of activities that reinforce Bible learning. Children who are 2 and 3 years old by September 1, 2012 meet in Room 100 on the main level while those who are in pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten meet in Room 200 on the second floor.
Festival: Adventures in Faith (9:30)
Children in First through Sixth Grades are part of Festival! Using a rotation method of faith formation, children meet with grade level peers, under the guidance of an adult Adventure Guide and rotate to a different workshop each week. Each workshop teacher helps children explore the Bible story in a different way. Workshop locations are posted in the stair well directories and at Festival Central located on the lower level near the coat racks.
Celebration Station (10:30)
“Celebration Station,” our 10:30 program on Sunday mornings, allows parents and caregivers to participate in adult learning communities or fellowship and know that their children are enjoying their own activities.
Nursery and toddler care continue in Room 101; those in pre-school and elementary school meet in Room 41 for Celebration Station. Activities rotate from week to week and include Godly Play storytelling, music, and special Video Sundays.
