The early music ensemble The Marion Consort, under the direction of church member Amy Bearden, will be performing a program entitled “Meditations on Lamentations” set in front of our beautiful stained glass window. The concert will feature “The Lamentations of Jeremiah” by Thomas Tallis, a composer of some of the most beautiful Renaissance polyphony. The Marion Consort is an a cappella ensemble which performs the music of the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods.
