PADS is a community program to deliver shelter to the homeless in our community. Our church is open to the homeless on Monday nights from October through April. We provide shelter, food, and security. This is entirely a volunteer mission, and we need the help of the members of our congregation and the community.
The PADS pizza party kick-off will be on September 10 at 6:30 in Fellowship Hall. All volunteers and those who want to learn more about PADS are invited to attend.
You may sign up outside the parlor to work, cook meals, or purchase food.
Sunday morning sign-ups will be on September 16 and September 23 before and after church. You may sign up to work, cook meals, or purchase food outside the parlor.
In order to work at the site you must attend a volunteer training. They will all be held at the Journeys office. I’ll be sure you know dates well in advance. You are welcome to attend, even if you only want to learn about the PADS program.
