Our 175th Anniversary Committee needs your historic church images. Soon our church will be celebrating an incredible milestone. Our humble beginnings go back to circuit riders on horseback congregating at an Elk Grove cabin in 1838. For those interested in etymology, it’s our Septaquintaquinquecentennial. That’s a mouthful, so we’ll simply call it the “175th Anniversary Jubilee.”

In the interest of preserving our seven generations of history, we are asking for images from our current and former members. Examples include:

  • Special services
  •  Holiday gatherings
  • Children’s pageants
  • Major events or dedications
  • Guest performers or speakers
  • Former clergy, staff, or members
  • Building photos
  • Weddings
  • Offsite events

…Whatever you have.

We have a mailbox at the church office labeled “175th Anniversary Committee”, so please drop off your items in the mailbox and include your name in case we have any questions. Image formats can be whatever you currently have: prints, digital files loaded to a CD (or returnable thumb drive), videos, and/or slides. Anything is appreciated. Please let us know if you’re giving us duplicates or originals that need to be returned. Thanks for your help!
